“Virgin Media to Offer Sky Atlantic to Subscribers at No Extra Cost”

Virgin Media users who already subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will receive the added benefit of Sky Atlantic at no extra cost starting next month. This enhancement will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers, with the new programming set to debut on screens on April 1.

To access Sky Atlantic content, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Additionally, the content will be accessible on-demand and via Virgin TV Go for added convenience.

David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the value this addition brings to customers, highlighting Sky Atlantic’s compelling dramas and stories from the UK and the US. He mentioned that over a million Virgin TV customers will now have access to Sky Atlantic without any extra steps or charges required.

In related news, Sky has announced the launch of a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels like Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be available on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.

Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, Sophia Ahmad, described this update as a “new era” for Sky and NOW, as it combines Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription offering.

This move from Virgin Media and Sky comes as part of a broader trend in the entertainment industry to provide comprehensive and diverse content options to consumers.
