Hyperoptic, a leading broadband provider, has recently announced an increase in mid-contract prices. Starting from April 2026, customers will witness a £4 monthly rise compared to the previous £3 increment.
This price adjustment will impact both new and existing customers across all Hyperoptic broadband plans. Despite prior claims against annual price hikes, Hyperoptic joins other major telecom giants in implementing substantial increases in recent times.
In a statement from 2023, policy director James Fredrikson emphasized Hyperoptic’s commitment to avoiding mid-contract price rises, advocating for transparent pricing throughout the contract duration.
Sky Mobile has disclosed that the majority of its customers will face a £1.50 monthly bill increase starting February 14, 2026, marking the first price adjustment for in-contract customers in over seven years.
O2 has informed its mobile and SIM-only contract customers about a £2.50 monthly rise from April 2026, surpassing the initial planned increase of £1.80 per month.
Three mobile customers opting for a data plan of 4GB or less can expect a £1.80 monthly hike from April 2026, an increase of 80p compared to the current £1 rise. Customers with different data plan sizes will experience varying monthly price adjustments.
Moreover, Three broadband users will see a £3.50 increase in their monthly bills, while Vodafone mobile customers engaging in new deals from November 12 will encounter a £2.50 or £1.50 rise for Basics SIM plans.
For Vodafone broadband subscribers, a £3.50 monthly price surge is on the horizon. Existing Vodafone and Three contract holders will be subject to the agreed-upon price increments.
