“Google Chrome Users Warned: Update Now to Fix Critical Bugs”

Users of Google Chrome are urged to promptly review their settings and restart their browsers due to the recent resolution of two critical bugs by Google. These vulnerabilities, known as CVE-2026-3909 and CVE-2026-3910, were classified as zero-day threats, indicating active exploitation by cybercriminals.

Google has confirmed the existence of exploits for these bugs in the wild and has released patches to address them. To ensure protection, users must update their Chrome browser to the latest version. Checking the browser version can be done by accessing the “About Google Chrome” section in the menu bar.

The safe versions for Windows/Mac are 146.0.7680.75/76, and for Linux, it is 146.0.7680.75. If the installed version is older, users should immediately install the update to mitigate the risk of online attacks. Google has already rolled out the updates, which will be available to users gradually.
