Both defendants deny the accusation of causing distress and alarm through stalking the McCanns between June 2022 and February of the following year.
In their testimonies at Leicester Crown Court, both Mr. and Mrs. McCann detailed the emotional turmoil caused by Wandelt’s deceitful claims. Gerry McCann emphasized the detrimental impact of false hope and the toll it takes on their ongoing search for Madeleine.
