Darts prodigy Luke Littler has expressed confidence in the ability of Angry Ginge, a participant on the reality TV show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here,” to thrive in the jungle. Littler, 18, a close friend of the internet sensation whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, also playfully hinted at a potential future adventure in Australia.
The Manchester United enthusiast and online streamer touched down at Brisbane airport this week in preparation for the show’s launch on November 16, with Burtwistle emerging as the frontrunner to win the jungle crown according to bookmakers.
Meanwhile, Littler progressed to the knockout phase of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton following a convincing 5-1 victory over Daryl Gurney, maintaining his title defense momentum.
In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler expressed his belief that the 23-year-old Burtwistle would excel under challenging conditions, stating, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known him for a long time.”
Speculation arose about Littler’s potential participation in future editions of the TV show, with TV executives possibly needing to offer a substantial amount to secure the talented darts player.
When asked about the prospect of joining the jungle, Littler responded, “Perhaps… If the price is right. I might consider a brief visit.”
Angry Ginge landed in Australia on Monday, where he received a warm welcome from fans and journalists before the show’s commencement. Despite acknowledging his affection for Manchester United and his mother, the 23-year-old humorously mentioned his camping skills, acquired during a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award at school.
In a YouTube video confirming his participation in the reality show, he expressed his hopes for Manchester United’s success in his absence, aiming for a top position upon his return in early December, quipping, “Hello there. If you are watching this, I’ve officially been confirmed for the jungle.”
