Darts Champion Luke Littler Teases £50M Jungle Bid

Luke Littler jokingly mentioned that he might consider participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if he was offered a substantial sum of £50 million, despite being put off by watching the show this year.

The 18-year-old darts prodigy has been closely following this season of the show to support his friend, Angry Ginge. Speculation arose about Littler joining the show after Angry Ginge’s appearance this year on the popular ITV program.

When asked about the possibility of following in his friend’s footsteps, Littler stated that he might consider it for the right price. However, in a recent interview with talkSPORT, Littler expressed hesitance about joining the show after witnessing the challenging tasks, mentioning that he couldn’t see himself participating.

Even when offered £10 million, Littler declined the opportunity. However, when the interviewer raised the amount to a staggering £50 million, Littler’s response shifted to a “maybe.”

Littler elaborated on his reluctance by mentioning his aversion to snakes and similar challenges in the jungle. Despite his jest about potentially flying over, he firmly stated he wasn’t considering it.

While Angry Ginge prepares for his upcoming trials, Littler is gearing up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship starting next month at Ally Pally. After becoming the youngest world champion in darts history last year, he returns as the sport’s new world No 1, aiming to retain the Sid Waddell trophy like Gary Anderson did a decade ago.

Littler’s title defense begins with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
