One memorable encounter involved a tourist from Brazil who was so moved by Murison’s performance that she cried, hugged him, and even shared her contact information. However, not all interactions have been pleasant. Murison once faced a man who demanded he stop playing, threw a drink at him, and stole money from his collection case.
The most recent incident occurred on a Saturday afternoon when a stranger approached Murison under the pretense of taking a photo but then brandished a knife. Despite the chaotic turn of events, Murison sustained a significant gash on his bagpipe bag and required four stitches on his thumb.
Following the unprovoked attack, a bystander called the authorities, leading to the apprehension of a 25-year-old suspect nearby. The individual faces multiple charges, including assault with a weapon and probation violations.
