Teen Darts Pro Luke Littler Overcomes Roadblock

Luke Littler provided an update following his absence from the second-to-last Players Championship event of 2025. The 18-year-old was set to compete at PC33 in Wigan but missed the deadline due to traffic, resulting in his exclusion from the tournament lineup. Instead, he opted to enjoy Chinese food at a restaurant as his darting competitors took the stage.

Later, Littler explained his delay, citing a road traffic incident on the M6 in Wigan where a man tragically lost his life. Despite missing PC33, Littler secured his spot in the Players Championship finals next month after a remarkable performance at PC32. He silenced critics by clinching the £15,000 prize and securing his position in the finals, ensuring a chance at the £120,000 top prize.

Recently crowned World Grand Prix champion, Littler faced a setback at the European Championship in Dortmund, falling to Wade in a 10-7 defeat. Despite hurdles, Littler’s achievements in the darts arena continue to garner attention and anticipation for future tournaments.
