Revolut has launched a new mobile service in the UK, introducing competitive pricing that could lead to significant savings on monthly bills for consumers. The service, named Revolut Mobile, offers unlimited 5G data, calls, and texts for just £12.50 per month. This pricing undercuts similar unlimited plans offered by major UK networks like EE and Vodafone, who charge £25 monthly for comparable packages.
In addition to the attractive pricing, Revolut Mobile includes 20GB of roaming across the EU and the United States at no extra cost, making it an appealing option for frequent travelers. Users can enjoy seamless connectivity in popular cities such as Paris, Berlin, New York, and Los Angeles without incurring additional charges, a feature that sets Revolut apart from competitors.
Revolut Mobile also provides global messaging capabilities through its Messaging Pass, enabling customers in over 80 countries to communicate using low-bandwidth data on platforms like WhatsApp. Furthermore, users can add up to three phone numbers to a single plan, simplifying the management of work, personal, and travel lines. Subscribers also receive a complimentary NordVPN membership for secure and private browsing.
The service is currently being rolled out to customers on the waitlist, with full public availability expected by January 2026. While Revolut’s entry into the mobile market represents a bold move, industry experts caution that success is not guaranteed. Analysts emphasize the importance of strong execution in combining banking services with mobile connectivity, especially in a highly competitive and dynamic MVNO market.
